Work/Career Change

 

Whether you are seeking to rejoin the workforce, gain a promotion, change your job or to move out of the company or institution in which you are currently employed to start up your own business, (or to improve your existing business), you may be feeling anxious or stuck within your current situation.

Feeling trapped and unable to move forward creates a great deal of internal conflict, which affects our lives and those whom we love and in turn, all those with whom we come into contact on a daily basis.  It is important therefore, not only for our own health, sense of well being and levels of self esteem, that we take the necessary action to create the flow of energy which will move our lives in the direction in which we want them to go, but for those to whom we are role models and who will one day face similar dilemmas to those we face today.

When we are in a situation in which we feel half alive and under appreciated, our self confidence becomes eroded making it even more difficult for us to find the necessary courage and motivation to undertake the actions which will resolve the situation in our favour.  Interacting with someone who empathically listens to our concerns and objectively helps us to re-evaluate the situation may help us to feel, over time, as one of my clients (who faced rejoining the workforce after a number of years raising children), stated on his third session “It’s not the mountain I thought it was at all!”
