Most of us want to feel better about ourselves and this means making a change in one or more aspects of our lives.  Some of us, having discerned where transformation needs to occur, are pro-actively creating these changes and are feeling increasingly invigorated, others are not and so feel stressed and stuck.  This stress, which can eventually be harmful to our health, is due to internal conflict caused by the disparity between how our life is, and how we want it to be.  The disparity, when acted upon becomes in itself a motivating factor, energising and exciting us as we engage in the adventure of our own lives, realising that we are not pawns in the game of life, but active, talented players.  When we constantly think about what we feel sucks about our lives and focus only on what we don’t want, forever thinking about change but doing nothing about it, we feel stuck and impotent, our energy drained.  Our external reality seems to verify the impossibility of our ever leading the lives we would want for ourselves.
Transformation occurs from within.
Getting to know who we are, bringing our self perceptions into balance, facilitates our greater awareness of our capacity for greater aliveness.
Becoming aware of what we truly want for ourselves, allowing ourselves to dream, heightens our levels of energy and causes optimism to flow.  We don’t have to struggle out of bed in the morning as we begin to implement the plan we’ve mapped out for ourselves.  Others around us begin to benefit from our renewed sense of purpose, and our lives take on a brighter hue.
